Hi, I am Adeline and I'm the Editor of Eat This Burn That. I am not a nutritionist nor a fitness instructor. I am just another girl who happened to stumble upon the journey to a healthier and fitter lifestyle and never looked back! 

I was never obese - just overweight (especially the unbelievable 10kgs that I packed on a year after I moved to Sydney approximately 6 years ago). I have struggled with bullemia, a craploads of different "diets", been on "healthy diet shakes" (HerbalLife puts me off protein shakes forever!) and "fat burning wrap" - pretty much any extreme, crazy attempts to lose weight, you name it, I probably did it. 

Four years of battles and struggles later, I have finally reached my "nirvana" and came to realisation that I should strive to be fit and healthy, not losing weight just to look skinny. Fitness is a change of lifestyle. I did not gain these weight overninght, I am not going to lose then overnight either. Getting fit is not going to be not an overnight process, it takes time -like a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly. 

I think that this is a concept many failed to grasp - I mean it took me a WHOLE FOUR years. This is why EatThisBurnThat is born - to help others out there understand that one should focus on being healthy and fit - not losing weight. Numbers is not everything. Once you change your lifestyle, the rest will start taking care of themselves.
